Substantial brutalist iron dining or center table in the style of Israeli artist and sculptor Ilana Goor. The base is constructed from heavy iron with a rebar-like texture, twisted column legs, X-form stretchers, and decorative forged details throughout. It has a strong architectural presence with a raw sculptural quality, very much in the spirit of Ilana Goor’s brutalist iron furniture.
The table is shown with a thick 3/4” rectangular glass top featuring a gemstone edge, giving the piece an impressive finished look and adding texture and depth to the glass. The iron base measures 72” long x 31.5” wide x 29.5” high without glass. Overall with the glass, the table measures approximately 96” long x 42” wide x 30.5” high.
A dramatic statement piece for a dining room, gallery-style interior, covered patio, or entry space. Heavy, sturdy, and well-made with a bold sculptural presence.
Condition
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The iron base has surface patina, rubbing, small marks, and finish variation throughout, all consistent with the brutalist handmade character. The 3/4” glass top has a gemstone edge and age-appropriate surface wear.
