E. A. Séguy was a French artist and designer who produced several portfolios during the mid 1920s, featuring patterns inspired by botanicals, insects or butterflies. His highly detailed prints were made using the labor-intensive, Pochoir technique (stenciling by hand in multiple rounds using only one color at a time). The originals are highly sought-after and are becoming harder to find.
