In the Canton pattern.

Decorated in underglaze blue with a mountainous Chinese village with houses, mountains, foliage, and a river and boat.

The lid with a finial handle and the body with a slightly scalloped rim.

Simply a wonderful example of Chinese porcelain!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There is a hairline crack to the base and some firing flaws throughout (several noted around the circumference of the inner rim where the lid rests and to the base of the bowl). Otherwise, there is some fritting & light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
