A refined pair of German ceramic tiles produced by the famous Somag Meissen manufactory in the early years of the twentieth century. These pieces represent an excellent example of late Jugendstil design, showing a strong transition towards early Art Deco geometric aesthetics. The stylized pattern is applied with a classic period stencil technique, featuring deep blue lines on an ivory background. An exceptional decorative set for antique tile collectors or as unique architectural accents in high end interior design projects.
