The lamp was newly rewired for US use, and we'll fit the correct plug for your country at no charge; the listed height is measured with the shade in place.

The base has a full, rounded body that swells at the belly and tapers to a short flaring neck, giving the banded ornament a curving surface to wrap around — arches, herringbone, scrolls, and beaded rows that shift between glossy moss green and warm ochre. Bay Keramik, founded in 1933 in the clay-rich Kannenbäckerland, built its postwar reputation on exactly this kind of sculptural molded relief.

Amitābha Studio converted the vintage base into a one-of-a-kind lamp using non-invasive methods that leave the original pottery intact, then topped it with a new empire shade in a textured oatmeal weave with ochre trim. This piece has an attribution mark,
