The slender body appears to float between the side panels, while the tapered legs give the whole a light and airy character. Together with the subtle brass handles, this creates a design that is understated yet instantly recognizable as mid-century. The walnut veneer displays a lively flamed pattern that looks different from every angle. It is precisely this natural interplay of lines that gives the cabinet warmth and depth, without the design losing its serene appearance. Behind the flap is a surprisingly spacious storage compartment. This makes the cabinet suitable not only as a stylish hallway cabinet or bedside table, but also as a compact audio unit or storage unit next to a sofa or armchair. Before the cabinet found its place in our collection, it was carefully restored in our workshop. Old layers of maintenance were removed, minor imperfections were touched up, and the veneer was re-nourished with a matte furniture oil. The original brass handles were also carefully cleaned, ensuring their warm shine complements the color of the wood beautifully. Like every piece of furniture in our collection, this cabinet is ready for immediate use. Upon purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions with matching furniture oil, so that the wood retains its warm appearance in the future as well.
