An authentic and superb vintage Louis Vuitton Courier Trunk, dating from the late 19th century, of medium size, rare and … Read more An authentic and superb vintage Louis Vuitton Courier Trunk, dating from the late 19th century, of medium size, rare and highly sought after. Made of Monogram "Tissé" canvas, edged with black metal and adorned with brass studs stamped "Vuitton," reinforced with wooden slats, fitted with casters at the base and black steel handles at both ends. The handles are stamped Louis Vuitton. It boasts a warm and vibrant patina thanks to its woven canvas, marked by time. Its solid brass main lock is stamped Louis Vuitton, as are its brass studs. The lock number is also stamped. This magnificent Vuitton trunk also features some travel labels and hand-painted stable stripes on each side. These details make this Vuitton trunk truly unique. Its interior is entirely original, with the exception of the padding under the lid, which was redone some time ago. The brand label is still present inside. The inscription reads "Louis Vuitton I. Rue Scribe Paris, 149 New Bond Style London," along with its serial number. The latter is slightly faded but still legible. It includes a large removable tray topped with a smaller one. This Vuitton trunk can be used as a perfect coffee table, side table, or footstool and will add a touch of elegance to any interior. Designer: Louis Vuitton
