A 1950s two-arm articulated sewing machine lamp by pfaff, restored for use as a table or wall light.
pfaff was founded in 1862 by georg michael pfaff in kaiserslautern and became a global leader in domestic and industrial sewing machines through the twentieth century, with a reputation built on precision and durability.
this task lamp was originally fitted to a pfaff sewing machine to light the work area. Its two articulated arms allow the head to be positioned at a range of angles, the same adjustability that made it practical at the workbench.
the lamp has been fully restored and polished, and rewired for safe contemporary use. The original shade was missing, so a vintage replacement shade has been fitted and finished in satin black. It mounts easily to a desk, table, wall or a wooden base (not included).
this is a single, unique piece, restored from an original vintage object.
