Designed in Italy by Makio Hasuike for Seccose, the iconic Metra dining table features a sleek silhouette with a lightweight but robust brushed aluminum frame that elegantly “floats” a thick, ¾ inch glass top, attached via sculptural exposed aluminum screw connectors.
The table, purchased at Design Within Reach in 2011, is in very good condition with some light scratches on the frame and glass (see photos). The tempered glass top is beveled with slightly rounded corners, suspended 1 ½ inches above the frame. Seats 6 comfortably.
