Direct from France, a superb quality, highly carved antique oak sofa table or desk, with exceptional carving throughout. The stunning skirt has carved scalloping on all sides with carved scrollwork below and centre finials. The four turned legs are opulently carved, with carved block joints and tufted feet. Quality throughout, with matching carved stretchers and cross braces. The table is carved and trimmed on all sides, making it perfect to 'float' in any room as it has no backrest. Superb craftsmanship, circa 1890.
