A rare and collectible decorative tray from Jules Pansu, one of France's most storied textile houses, featuring a reproduction of Pablo Picasso's Femme accoudée (1959) — realized with the official agreement of the Succession Picasso.
The tray is made by assembling jacquard fabric between two acrylic sheets of different thicknesses. The fabric is woven in France in Jules Pansu's own workshop, Les Tissages de la Lys, located in Halluin in Flanders — and the assembly of the tray with the acrylic is made by a partner also located in France. Entirely Made in France, from weaving to final assembly.
