The rich, organic grain of the wood is enhanced by a polished finish that accentuates its depth. The shape elegantly flares toward the base, creating a robust yet refined profile.

The base rests on a solid, brushed square platform made of solid brass, with hand-finished corners. Matching brass corner accents are set along each upper corner of the wooden base, a precision detail that underscores the quality of its craftsmanship. The base also features a polished brass cable grommet on the front, a functional design touch that prevents wear and tear on the cord.

The original lampshade is a masterpiece in its own right: square in section with outward-sloping sides, it is crafted from an elegant, dark bronze silk organza fabric. This shade, in good condition (as pictured), casts a warm, intimate light that highlights the wood grain and the texture of the fabric.
