Given the existence of contemporary stealth aircraft, it is not too great a leap of the imagination to believe that this apparently gigantic craft could be real.

In fact, the image is a digitally reworked composite based on a photograph of the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern, London, transformed to create a powerful illusion that blurs the boundary between architecture, technology and imagination.
