William Page, Figures on a Path, Possibly Ithaca, Greece.A fine drawing in brown wash attributed to William Page (1794–1872).The view, with its rustic cottages and figures, resembles a number of Page's landscape subjects executed in Italy, Greece and Turkey. It is similar in feel, for example, as his 'View in Ithaca' (British Museum 1975,0621.25).
