manufactured in 1965 and completely restored, it features the following features:
- excellently preserved silkscreen prints and lacquer finish
- power supply rework and electronics overhaul
- turntable overhaul with replacement of consumables
- new piezoelectric cartridge
it has been upgraded with the addition of external bluetooth functionality, allowing it to be used with modern electronic devices such as cell phones, ipads, or tablets.

this radiophonograph, an icon of 1960s pop art and featured in the most important permanent modern art exhibitions around the world, was designed by brothers achille and piergiacomo castiglioni on commission from giuseppe and ennio brion (father and son owners of brionvega).
in production from 1964 until approximately 1972.

the rr126 came in four different versions with minor internal differences:
the first differed from subsequent productions with its stabilized transistor power supply, square buttons, and knobs machined from solid aluminum. It featured the english garrard at60 turntable with a solid aluminum platter featuring a acrylic glass cover, which remained the same throughout the rr126 production run. The two-way speakers featured irel 20 cm woofers and oval alnico tweeters at the ends. The lightweight and sturdy plywood cabinet was a lightweight yet sturdy option; this very first production run featured wood veneer only.
a second version, again with a garrard at60 turntable and then the at60 mk2 (with arm lift), was produced in white, lobster, and walnut lacquer. The two-way speakers featured a power switch on the first square button on the left, the square and round buttons were now made of aluminum-coated plastic, and there was a fuse and voltage selector.
the rr126 was then updated with a smaller dual 1010 turntable with rounded edges, and four black plastic nails were added to position the acrylic glass. The speakers now have a single 20-centimeter dual-cone speaker (first french audax, then italian irel).
the third version now has a chipboard cabinet, still covered in white walnut and lobster, and appears behind the headphone jack. The turntables are the new dual ones with square edges.
in addition to the fm mw (medium wave) radio, it also features lw (long wave) (the first square button on the left, so the switch is moved to the first knob on the bottom left).
a hole was also added higher up on the left to accommodate the optional preamplifier for magnetic cartridges.
a fourth and final version of the rr126 has completely reworked its electronics.
the most notable changes were:
– electronics with negative ground
– all transistors are now silicon instead of germanium
– internal operating voltage is now 60 volts

as a result, the device is more powerful and qualitatively better, becoming a true hi-fi system on par with today's.
it features a preamplifier for magnetic cartridges as standard, and the old piezoelectric cartridge is no longer available.
the turntable is the dual 1225, 1226, and other more reliable models.
above all, it features new, high-quality two-way speakers with 17cm heco woofers and heco tweeters (both german-made), separated by a beautiful crossover.
