Large 4 seater chesterfield sofa with deep button tufts on seat back and arms of the couch. The front facing arm sides have nail button accent. The legs are painted white. The seat measurements are for one cushion. The measurements are based on the large tufted top. The base measurements 34" x 84"
The Chesterfield couch originated in England. It is believed to have been commissioned in the 18th century by Philip Stanhope, the 4th Earl of Chesterfield, who desired a distinctive style of seating with deep, tufted upholstery that would allow gentlemen to sit upright without wrinkling their garments
