A striking vintage oval wall mirror by Enrique Garcel, Colombia, marked Made in Colombia on the back, as all of his pieces were. The frame is finished in tessellated horn with brass inlay details, creating a rich mosaic surface with deep brown, black, cream, and warm amber tones throughout.
The four brass accents add a subtle geometric element and give the mirror a strong Art Deco modern feel. The combination of natural horn, polished brass, and the bold oval form is very much in line with Garcel’s refined Colombian modern design.
A beautiful decorative mirror with strong presence, quality materials, and the distinctive horn and brass craftsmanship associated with Enrique Garcel’s work.
