This highly investment-grade piece features an exquisite, heavily figured solid burr oak (burl oak) adzed top with a beautiful period curved saddle seat, displaying a deeply dramatic and complex wild grain patterning that is rarely seen on Mouseman pieces. The stool is supported by four beautifully hand-carved adzed octagonal legs joined by a sturdy low stretcher system, showcasing classic English Arts & Crafts joinery. True to tradition, it features Thompson's iconic hand-carved mouse signature crawling on one of the legs.
