Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is an incredible abstract portrait of Peter's dear friend and mentor, Pablo Picasso, that is actually painted in a very Picasso-style manner. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner and executed with acrylic on board and framed. It is titled and signed with location "In Memory of My Friend Pablo Picasso, P. Keil, Berlin" on the verso.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with minor wear consistent with age. The frame has very minor imperfections, as you can see in the photos.
