1950s rotary dial telephone, bakelite design phone, collector's item; designed by heemaf for philips, netherlands, 1950s.
the heemaf type 1955 is a design telephone and a distinctive model in the world of telephony. Due to its striking appearance, it is often referred to internationally as the "batman phone" or "batphone."
this philips version was also manufactured by heemaf but was sold and supplied by philips to private customers and exported worldwide.
it is in very good vintage condition; the rotary dial still turns very smoothly. Functionality has not been tested; please check the photos for more details!
