Vintage rotary-dial telephone made entirely of bakelite; designed in 1951 by ericsson for the ptt, the design is based on its art deco-style predecessor, the ericsson model 1931.
originally, these phones featured cords with a cotton outer sheath, which tended to wear out relatively quickly due to use and aging. This unit is marked "11-66" on the bottom; while the phone itself is older, it was refurbished in the 1960s by the ptt’s central workshop, at which time the cotton cord was replaced with a vinyl one.
this telephone is in good vintage condition; there is a small chip missing from one of the front corners, but the rotary dial still works—please check the photos for more details!
