This Murano sommerso glass ashtray or valet tray was designed by renowned glass artist Flavio Poli for the Seguso Vetri d'Arte glassworks. It dates back to the 1960s. It is made using the sommerso glass technique, characterized by overlapping layers of differently colored glass—in this case, a red core enclosed in blue/light blue and green/transparent layers. It features an asymmetrical body with a faceted diamond-shaped geometric cut that creates spectacular light reflections and color variations depending on the angle. Made in Italy in 1960. Please carefully review the video and photos, thank you.
