A stunning and extremely elegant set of ‘Brno’ cantilever chairs, a timeless icon of 20th-century design created by Bauhaus master Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for Villa Tugendhat in Brno, and officially produced by Knoll International in the 1970s. The frame is made of steel, with the seat and backrest upholstered in black velvet. The chairs are in good condition; the upholstery has been reupholstered, whilst the steel frame shows some marks due to wear and tear and the passage of time. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
