Early 20th century Paul Milet Sèvres jardiniere with deep green flambé glaze and ornate neoclassical bronze mounts. The elongated oval form is finished with a gilt bronze laurel-and-ribbon gallery, raised feet, and squared architectural side handles. The interior is glazed in warm brown with green drip movement at the rim.
The underside bears a rectangular stamped mark, partially obscured by glaze pooling, along with incised form number 565. The mark, form number, glaze, and bronze-mounted construction are consistent with known Paul Milet Sèvres examples from the early 1900s.
A beautiful decorative arts vessel for use as a centerpiece, cachepot, or collector display object.
