Vintage 1970s convertible Chinoiserie console table in cherry and olive ash burl by Baker, designed by Michael Taylor for the Far East collection and newly restored to showroom condition.
The tabletop flips open to double in size, acting as an auxiliary dining surface or a serving area for larger gatherings. The base resembles that of a Ming era altar table, with carved detailing and a black lacquer finish that stands in contrast with the reddish golden hues of the burl and cherry surfaces.
