The heavy, hand-forged iron bases are completely stable, sturdy, and free of rust or weld separations. The original rustic charcoal-black factory finish is beautifully preserved with a wonderful, aged patina. The thick clear glass inserts show only light, minor surface wear. There are no deep gouges, chips, or cracks in the glass. less
