A great chance for collectors or museums to become an owner of a very important table lamp designed by Hendrik Petrus Berlage and Jac van den Bosch for their exclusive furniture store " 't Binnenhuis". The pictures 11 and 12 are similar items that were designed by Berlage/Bosch. They all show the repetitive cutouts of circles in the stand (all are in the collections of museums in the Netherlands - except for the lamp now offered). The lamp offered here shows a mixture of industrialism and modernism. with some imagination you can see some resemblance with the Eiffel tower. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution,
European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
