This handsome mirror could enhance a space in many different ways. It would be beautiful over a mantle, or space permitting, as the crowning glory over a doorway or to exquisitely top off another mirror. Or in a restaurant, how about the idea of mounting it over the bar area?
I do not know the exact age, but with close examination of the style, the wood, and the details, I would think it could easily be late 19th or early 20th century. The glass itself is in decent shape, although it does hint at the patina that age bestows upon mirrors. And there are also accents of striped grain (see photos close to the end).
It measures 42.25" at its widest point, 25" high, and 2" deep; the mirror itself is 33" wide and 14" high.
It's a beauty, and if I had a place, it would be hanging in my own home!
