A mid century hand-painted ceramic art pottery mug crafted by Shafford. This highly detailed, dimensional piece features a fully raised relief scene of a beaver chewing on a log, framed by vibrant green maple leaves along the top and bottom borders. The most unique element is the sculpted figural handle, which is formed by a second beaver climbing up the side of the vessel.
Finished in a rich, high-gloss brown glaze, this collectible mug or small decorative stein is a perfect addition to a cabin windowsill, a rustic bar setup, or a vintage ceramic collection.
