Robert Bevis Original Concept Car Design Art Clay Model Prototype Study 26x20” (two art boards taped together measure this size when opened up flat - they do fold down)
Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist’s brother, who stated that Robert “Bob” Bevis was a Seattle-area artist/designer and that this concept was connected to a clay model he was developing while seeking production interest. Interestingly enough, Robert Bevis designed some area Seattle posters, including one for the Grateful Dead in 1969 for a concert that never materialized.
Mostly drawn on vellum and taped down to the artist board. I see a faint date of 1989 on one corner.
