Traveling Man Treasures is selling this vintage 1940s-1960s Mexican hand-carved and painted Barbones dance mask. The piece is wired for wall hanging and in good overall vintage condition with no major cracks or breaks, and shows an aged patina.
The mask has been reviewed by the mask professionals at "Masks of the World." Upon careful examination of the hair carving style and the distinctive eye shape, I concur that this mask is indeed of Mexican origin, fitting within the enchanting category of "Barbones" masks.
