This brown and gold patinated bronze figure was crafted by the french sculptor paul duboy. It features a little girl, psyche, standing on a naturalistic base. The bronze sculpture is set upon a round marble plinth. Signed: paul duboy. Paul duboy (1830-1887) studied sculpture in the école nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in paris and exhibited his works at the salon from 1853 until 1882. H. Bronze (without marble base): 42cm, circa 1870 dimensions: w 5.5in, d 7.5in, h 18.5in. Dimensions: l 14cm, p 19cm, h 47cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
