The exquisite mother-of-pearl inlay was carved in an artistic design revealing a red background through the intricate carving. The design is very handsome and is mounted on olive wood. On the back side of the crucifix, the fourteen stations of the cross are engraved on the wood. It measures 5” x 3” and is popularly used as a wall hanging to bless the home or a particular room. Those crosses are no longer available for sale on the market. They are rare historical museum antiques. This crucifix still appears to be in a new condition as when it first arrived brand new.
