Description: Set features 2 arm chairs and 4 side chairs. Extremely high end set includes 2 arm chairs and 8 side chairs. Chairs feature carved walnut shepherd's crook and open side and armchairs, with pierced spoon shaped back carved with husks and foliage in relief the central splat shaped and similarly carved on rounded and veneered splat frame with shaped apron, the hipped cabriole legs with scroll carvings and foliage leaves carving on knees terminating in spectacular carved claw and ball feet. Upholstery is a cream high end damask. Copied from an English antique circa 1715. The Baker Stately Home Collection features exquisitely hand-crafted replicas of historic furniture found in "the palaces and castles of the British and Continental nobility, the princesses, lords and ladies of the stately homes: Chatsworth, Blenheim and Longleat, and palaces in Russia" Baker's highest end and highest priced furniture pieces. Each chair would have retailed well over $7,000 in the 1990s.

Condition Report: Very Good condition with very light scuffs, scratches. Upholstery is in good condition and usable with some light wear and stains. Beautiful chairs.
