A set of four Ethan Allen "Jacob" barrel chairs — the modern take on the classic tub chair, with a continuous bentwood frame that sweeps from arm to leg and a taut, tailored back that gives the silhouette its clean, sculptural line. Finished in a warm dark wood tone with a dove-gray basketweave upholstery and double-welt trim.
Custom-made and hand-tailored in North America by Ethan Allen artisans. Solid hardwood frame with double-doweled, glued-and-screwed joinery and 1¼" rails in the load-bearing areas — these are built to last, not fast-furniture. Originally $1,300–1,500 each custom; offered here as a rare matched set of four.
Equally at home flanking a fireplace, pulled around a game table, or working as occasional seating in a study or club room. Sold as a set.
