One of a kind acrylic painting by local San Diego artist, Duke Windsor.
"While coming up with how to paint without touching brush to canvas, wanted to see how paint can move on its own in a series of 'drips'. Like the currents in stream, paint flows descending on the canvas and chooses it own path. These are gravity paintings, no guide, no brush, no pre idea of what will happen. The accident done on purpose. As the artist, I can create a flow of color to create a current of color. Sometimes I add a singular shift in the current with a different color. These rip-currents or “rips” adds another element of mystery." - Duke Windsor
