The Lazy Susan is made for table or counter tops. Ball bearing rotating mechanism helps the slab turn effortlessly 360 all day long. It needs to be hand washed only with mild soap and water, conditioned with mineral oil to feed the wood to keep from cracking and to keep it looking stunning. It is not dishwasher safe or to be soaked in the sink. !6'' Round and 1 3/4'' tall; allows plenty of room for salt and pepper shakers, napkin holder, and tooth pick cup for the counter top, or for 'hors d'oeuvers' for guests. The rustic feel would appeal to a cabin owner or a house set high in the Rocky Mountains. I found this piece while shopping on vacation in the small mountain town of Enterprise OR, set in the Wallowa-Whittman forest. See less
