The piece features a circular top elaborately hand-carved with concentric floral bands, scrolling vines, leafy tendrils, and a central botanical medallion, blending Mughal-inspired decoration and the compact form of a Moorish side table. The octagonal base is composed of eight hinged and carved panels, each decorated with pierced foliate openwork of leaves, vines, and scrolling botanicals. The warm reddish-brown hardwood, likely teak, has a dry and aged patina. The decorative piece is well-suited for use as a side table, drinks or tea table, occasional table, accent table, or decorative stand. The table has natural age splits in the wood as seen in photos with an authentic faded and weathered patina.
