Crafted in pine with a rich honey-toned finish, the chest features two smaller upper drawers above two full-width drawers, each fitted with decorative aged brass pulls.

The piece has classic English country appeal, with rounded front corners, a substantial base, simple drawer fronts, and a beautifully aged surface that reflects its history. The pine shows natural grain, knots, tonal variation, age-related marks, and gentle wear throughout, adding to its character rather than taking away from it.

Condition:
Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The pine surface shows natural knots, grain variation, small marks, scratches, dents, darkened areas, and other signs of age. Brass pulls show patina and age-related wear. As seen in the images, this chest does have a crack on the left side panel and top that have been repaired at some time in the chests life. This is common in antique furniture of this age and does not effect the function or beauty of the piece. These imperfections are part of the piece’s character and authenticity.
