It displays the honest wear expected of an antique of its age, including minor surface scratches, small dents, finish variations, and age-related wood movement. The top exhibits a stabilized and filled shrinkage seam resulting from the natural movement of solid oak over time. Minor shrinkage is also present at a few joints and moldings, characteristics commonly found in handcrafted furniture of this period. These age-related details contribute to the cabinet's authenticity, rich patina, and enduring character. less
