An incredibly beautiful Danish louvered cabinet from the early 1960s, made with the high quality and craftsmanship that has made Danish furniture design sought after worldwide.
The cabinet is made of warm, beautifully grained teak and rests on an elegant leg frame and details in oak. The combination of the wood types creates a classic Scandinavian expression that feels as relevant today as when the cabinet was made.
The lower part consists of three spacious drawers with integrated handles. Above are two well-made louvered doors with elongated handles in teak. The elaborate construction means that the doors run smoothly and at the same time gives the furniture a clean and harmonious appearance.
Behind the louvered doors hides a practical and well-thought-out interior in lighter wood with smaller drawers and several movable shelves that can be easily adapted as needed. Perfect for storing china, glass, documents, textiles or other everyday items.
The compact size makes the cabinet easy to place even in smaller spaces, while the louvered doors are particularly practical where regular doors require extra turning space.
The softly rounded frame around the front gives the cabinet an exclusive and elegant character. The turned, tapered oak legs together with the stabilizing crossbars enhance both the furniture's stability and its light, airy expression.
An absolutely top-class cabinet where every detail testifies to solid craftsmanship, functionality and timeless Danish design.
Dimensions
Width: 150 cm
Depth: 44 cm
Height: 134 cm
The cabinet is in very fine vintage condition with very few and very small traces of use that are natural for its age. What is worth mentioning is that one of the interior drawers has a slightly chipped edge. This does not affect the function or overall impression and is not something that is experienced as noticeable during normal use. Otherwise, the cabinet is well preserved with a very nice luster in the wood and a very good overall impression.
