An exceptional authentic vintage Lane cedar hope chest featuring one of the company’s more distinctive Mid-Century Modern designs, highlighted by a graceful serpentine front, sculptural jewelry drawers, and beautifully figured walnut veneer.
This chest combines elegant design with practical storage. Opening the lid reveals Lane’s famous aromatic cedar interior complete with the original green felt jewelry tray, original Lane literature, guarantee card, and factory authenticity decals—all wonderful details rarely found together.
The striking curved center section houses five small jewelry or keepsake drawers, including a locking top compartment, flanked by three full-size drawers on each side with the original sculptural brass hardware. The warm walnut grain flows beautifully across the case, while the gently bowed top and base soften the overall profile.
