“One Among Many” is a bold meditation on rhythm, structure, and subtle individuality. Composed of uniform, deep indigo circles arranged in a rigid grid, the painting initially suggests order and repetition. Yet on closer inspection, each circle contains its own texture, tone, and personality—slight shifts in shape, brushwork, and opacity reveal the hand of the artist within the geometry. The grid is interrupted by a faint vertical band, where the circles darken or blur, nudging the viewer to question conformity and spotlight divergence.
Set against a white background that adds breathing space to the dense pattern, the composition balances minimalism with emotional resonance. This piece invites contemplation about identity within collectives, visibility within systems, and the quiet power of imperfection in a world of uniformity.
Satin UV varnish. Wired to hang four different ways to create a variety of options. A great entryway or hall piece for a pop of color and some edgy fun. Artist signature on no side.
