**Artist's Story**

"The More You Change" reflects a truth that reveals itself repeatedly throughout life: transformation often makes sense only in hindsight.

The work emerged from my fascination with the ways we are shaped by experience. Some changes arrive as opportunities, others as challenges, yet both leave their imprint on who we become. While we often resist periods of transition, it is frequently only after moving through them that we recognize their value and necessity.

In keeping with this theme, the painting itself is an act of transformation. Created entirely with my fingertips and without brushes, the process was instinctive, physical, and direct. I worked exclusively with salvaged paints and spray paints—materials that might otherwise have been discarded—allowing them to evolve into something new and meaningful.
