The Mandarin Teapot is an icon of Hungarian design. Manufactured c. 1940 by Elekthermax company in Budapest, the teapot was named after the brand of Chinese tea. The design of this electric tea cattle is characteristic by the harmony of utility and high aetheric standards. This model is the developed version of Wilhelm Wagenfeld's heat-resistant glass jug manufactured by Jenaer Glaswerke around 1930. It reflects the influence of the Bauhaus school. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
