Italy, 1891 origin italy period 1891 author cesare ghirardi (mondovì, cuneo, 1841 – turin, 1900) piedmontese painter active in the second half of the nineteenth century. He is documented in the illustrated dictionary of modern and contemporary italian painters and engravers by comanducci, which attests to his activity in the turin area. Technique oil on canvas, gessoed and gilded wooden frame dimensions painting: 52 x 68 cm frame: 77 x 91 cm conditions the painting and the frame are in excellent condition, as can be seen from the attached photos.
