Executed during the late 19th century in the Renaissance Revival tradition, the paintings are mounted within an elaborate carved and gilt Gothic architectural frame adorned with twisted columns, crocketed pinnacles, quatrefoil tracery, and cusped arcading.

Each angel is depicted in prayer upon radiant clouds, with finely detailed wings, punched halos, and luminous gilt backgrounds that reflect the devotional imagery of the early Italian Renaissance. The refined execution and harmonious composition evoke the spiritual elegance of Quattrocento Italian painting while offering the warmth and patina of an authentic period object.

Particularly noteworthy is the uncommon double-panel configuration.
