The cone-leg form evokes the work of Angelo Mangiarotti, giving the piece a strong, gallery-like presence; it reads as much like sculpture as furniture.

Condition: Good vintage condition with character consistent with age. The marble has beautiful natural veining throughout. Please note there is a natural fissure on the top in one area where the veining converges, with slight surface texture you can feel — see the close-up photo. It is stable and the table is structurally sound; it sits and functions perfectly. There are also a few small white surface scratches on the top (typical of vintage marble and often buffable with marble polish), some light surface marking from use, and minor natural mineral spotting on the legs.
