This table is oarticularly useful as the leaves disappear under the table top. Unlike a traditional drop leaf table, this table can be used equally well open or shut depending upon the number of people you need to accomodate. The timbers used in this table are spectacular. The mahogany just shimmers and glows. The piece measures 28.25 tall. When closed the piece is 30.5" x 42"; open it measures 56 1/4" x 42". See less
