vintage “modernist“ Italian wall plaque.
The whole thing was cast as one- picture and frame together - the image is sgfaritto onto the surface then the colors were painted on.
The coloring is strong with good pigment. There has been some slight bowing along the frame edges which have caused cracks to emerge on the frame detail-
The cracks have been repaired but are not in absolute perfect condition. It is some kind of resin with a brownish tone. Warm to the touch.
Powerful unique vintage piece.
It weighs around 15lb.
